Ube White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

115 g unsalted butter (softened)
140 g white sugar
60 g brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
8–10 g ube powder
250 g all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
120 g white chocolate chips or chunks
10–20 ml milk (if needed for texture)

  • 1. Cream butter & sugar

    Mix butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 min).
  • 2. Add wet ingredients

    Mix in egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • 3. Add Ube Powder

    Add ube powder directly and mix well until evenly combined. Dough should turn light purple.
  • 4. Add dry ingredients.

    Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined. If dough feels too dry → add a splash of milk.
  • 5. Add chocolate.

    Fold in white chocolate chips or chunks evenly.
  • 6. Chill dough

    Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes (important for texture and shape).
